Clubheadsradio

SignalFive was asked to take Crystal Waters' stream for her international radio station, Clubheadsradio, and turn it into a widget that could be distributed across the majority of the social networking sites out there, such as Facebook, Myspace, Hi5, and Bebo. The radio station was using Live365.com to stream the content, which was locked into Live365.com's proprietary system.

After some research, we found that Live365.com has an existing API that we could use to leverage the stream in a Flash widget. After this discovery, the rest of the work went by quite smoothly.

We realized that we could tie into an open system to allow for the tracking, analytics, and detailed statistics for the widget. We leveraged this so that the client could see a day-by-day breakdown of where adoption of the widget occured around the world.
